INGENIOUSLY SIMPLE FILTER SYSTEMS

EVO filter systems are ahead of their time. They use water power and work completely without electricity. They need hardly any maintenance and run almost without any wear.

And the key is the patented trick: the water enters the filter drum from the pond with the aid of a pump or gravity. Fleece is tightened around the drum and then water flows through the fleece. All particles larger than a few millimetres are retained by the fleece. As the fleece accumulates more dirt particles, the water flow through the fleece slows down. The level in the filter container rises and eventually reaches an overflow. The water drained off is now directed to a water wheel. This drives a shaft which rolls up the soiled fleece and new fleece is simultaneously pulled into position.

It all runs automatically by itself without human action until the reserve of clean fleece is used up. Depending on the time of year, this can be up to 10 weeks. The system cleans itself and works without electricity and without sensitive electronic components.

USING GRAVITY OR A PUMP?

Here is some advice for you:

Pump version I

Choose this variation when you wish to install Genesis fleece filter technology in an existing pond. The pump positioned in the pond pumps the pond water to above the water level of the installed EVO3, is treated there and flows over the EVO BLUE LIGHT PE with the aid of gravity back to the pond. The fitting of an EVO3 variation with integrated UVC unit is also possible.

Pump version II

The water is pumped to the EVO3 by an EVO GREEN STREAM. The EVO GREEN STREAM is located in a pump chamber below the water level and sucks in the water over the floor drain and skimmer. The pond water is treated above the water level in the EVO3 and then flows over the EVO BLUE LIGHT PE with the aid of gravity back to the pond.

Features: High operational reliability / easy access / easy installation / requires more energy

GRAVITY VERSION

With the gravity version the water to be filtered flows solely with the aid of gravity to the filter, is treated there and then pumped back to the pond by the EVO BLUE STREAM over the EVO BLUE LIGHT PE. Gravity versions are used mainly with new ponds. With gravity versions the EVO3 has to be lowered slightly below the water level inside a filter chamber.

GRAVITY VERSION – FLAT

The function and installation procedure is the same as for the standard gravity version, but due to its design it only sticks out 10 cm above the water level.
